Sodyum Sülfür, kimyasal formülü Na2S'dir. Nem tutucu özelliğine sahiptir. Sodyum sülfür su içinde çok kolay çözülen sarı renkte olan oldukça pis kokan ve güçlü indirgen bir kimyasal maddedir. Sodyum sülfür ısıtıldığı zaman suni kükürt banyolarının hazırlanmasında kullanılmakta olan poli sülfürleri vermektedir. Sodyum sülfit olarak da bilinir. Yabancı maddeler rengini içermekte olan endüstriyel sodyum sülfür kahverengi, haki ve pembe renkli olur. Kaynama noktası, ağırlık ve erime noktası aynı zamanda yabancı maddeler sebebi ile değişir. Kömür azaltma yöntemi ile elde edilebilir. Baryum sülfat yöntemini kullanarak sodyum sülfat ile baryum sülfat metatez reaksiyonu kullanarak baryum sülfat eldesinin yanı sıra yan ürün olarak da sodyum sülfat çöktürülerek elde edilmektedir. Sodyum sülfür ile hidroksit asit bire bir miktarda karıştırıldığında hidrojen sülfür gazı elde edilir. Sodyum yada potasyum siyanüre hidroklorik asit ilave edilerek hidrojen siyanür eldesi gerçekleşir.

Carbon Black About carbon black Carbon black [C.A.S. NO. 1333-86-4] is virtually pure elemental carbon in the form of colloidal particles that are produced by incomplete combustion or thermal decomposition of gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons under controlled conditions. Its physical appearance is that of a black, finely divided pellet or powder. Its use in tires, rubber and plastic products, printing inks and coatings is related to properties of specific surface area, particle size and structure, conductivity and color.
