Kullanılan güneş paneli hücreleri kullanım alanlarına göre temelde monokristal güneş paneli ve polikristal güneş paneli olarak sınıflandırılır. Gelişen teknoloji ile daha verimli PERC panellerin seri üretimine geçilmiştir.
