Lactose, which is found in milk at a high rate in nature and known as milk sugar, is a source of energy. It is a disaccharide composed of one molecule of glucose and one molecule of galactose. It is obtained by purifying the lactose obtained from pasteurized whey.

Manufactured from fresh pasteurised skimmed milk. A free owing white, light yellowish free owing powder. A typical clean neutral tasting, slightly sweet with no distinctive o -avours.
